Uhmmm y'all were not supposed to notice the absence of the division sign there. That is my fault, I wrote that out a bit too quickly. You are correct though. Distance equals the product of rate and time, so the the velocity IS distance over time. As a side note, don' t ever proof your own work. I assure y'all though, ever character is there in the final equations that govern this device. (edit) also, with respect to the obvious omission, the approximation of 2.2 ft for 6 mph is correct.
