Subject: 568 baler density

nw mizz
Traded the old holland in for a new deere 568 and am rather disappointed in the bale density and weight. First cutting alfalfa bale weight is only 1500 pounds with the density knob all the way in and size set on 70 which becomes about 72 by the time you get stopped. How close to the red should the gauge get? Seems all I can get is 3/8 to half inch away even with the density knob all the way in. Wondering if something is screwed up in the density or if thata the best it will do?
