Subject: Air conditioner.......angle of a Sanden compressor before destruction, smoke and ratteling starts?

just a tish NE of central ND
I'm retrofitting(going to try it) a air conditioner with a Sanden compressor and have to modify brackets and all that good stuff. Location and space is a issue. My question is for you air conditioner gu-ru's....... How vertical does a sanden compressor have to run to keep it from self destruction? In other words, will it self destruct if the intake and discharge hose ports are layed on their side and the oil check plug ends up being on or near the top??? Does it matter on this type of compressor which position it sits in? Looking at the hose ports , this one could end up in the 2.30 to 3.Oclock position. Will that "kill " its lubrication system or give it "oil lockup" issues??
