ec illinois champaign | have had an issue with the a/c on this tractor ,,8070 allis chalmers for several years,basically just use it to spray and mow with now,,a/c can be running fine,,shut the temp knob off and then when you turn it back on,,no a/c,,,park the tractor and say fill the sprayer,,get in turn it back on,,and bingo,works fine and cold,,i ran a new wire from compressor up to top of cab to switch,,thinking that wire had a break,maybe coming down inside cab post,and was maybe losing power when tractor got hot,something is shutting it down,then letting it start again,,we had checked blower switch for power and power to a/c control a couple years ago,,that all was workin properly for power,should i change both switches,thinkin 1 has an intermittent problem,,or what ideas does everyone have,thanks | |
