ec illinois champaign | i built mine in 1986,,you may want to go with 2 x 6 exterior wall studa over 2 x 4,,gains you some insualation R value and strength,,probably doesnt up the cost much,,however,,i now wish i had had the spray foam put on the outside wall,,back then spray foam was just beginning,,i can take you in farmer shops by me,,had 1 inch of spray foam put in the wall first,,then the fiberglass bat,,air tite,,most of the shops will stay 40 plus with no heat,look into the foam for your outside walls,,money well spent when you dont know the cost of heat down the road,,and now is the time to do it,,not after you have the drywall on the inside and done,,heat gets expensive,i may actually rip my drywall off,,and have mine foam,,just a thought,,yes stell roof,,either sheets,or stell stone coated decra shingles,, | |
