NE Iowa | Read the post below about tru counts turning on a little too late. I've got somewhat of a different problem. Every once in awhile after I turn around on a headland, I set the planter down and all 16 rows engage for about 3 feet, then they all turn off and by the time I get to where they actually need to start runing on, they turn on two rows at a time perfectly as they should. Running a 1770NT CCS with hydraulic drives and Deere rate controller and GS3 if that makes a difference. They always turn off perfectly. I usually turn the master switch off everytime I turn around because I've got a 2nd rate controller piggy backed together to run spray with the planter as well. Took the cluthches apart over winter and cleaned them all up and it seemed to help some. It's not really hurting anything, just wandering why they are acting the way they are. TIA | |
