Wallis, TX
First your power company and local code will dictate what you must have. Bad news, 3 phase is high and 480V even higher than 240V. Good news, you can find the stuff used if you got time and don't mind looking. I know of one place in Houston, ERCO, Electrical Repurpose Company or something close to that. The net & ebay will have lots of stuff, but you better know what you're looking for. Some brands are obsolete, some been bought out, and there is lots of junk and lots of stuff listed for more than new. However, after a month or so I was able to get everything I needed used.

As for cost, hang on to your rear, my used main panel with a half dozen breakers and the main breaker was a grand and that was a steal.

I'd get friendly with the guy that works on the local elevators, feed mills etc. He will know of the best place locally to get new or used and will steer you clear of the junk.
