I'll agree on the poor steering in the 3185s. I have a FM-750 w/EZ-Steer in ours. For pres, burndown & such I get along fine but for row spraying it's hit & miss. Sometimes I can go 3/4 mile using the auto steer, other times can't go 100 yards. For row spraying I just use the auto-steer to get me onto the correct rows then take over manually.

FWIW, right now I wouldn't recommend the FM-750. We've had way too many firmware issues. In two yrs the dealer has put 4 750s in the sprayer. Yesterday the tech spent 4 hrs putting a "patch" into the version 2.0. He was going to go back to 1.91 but Trimble told him the patch would work & would be the easiest, 5 minutes tops. He wasn't a happy camper when he finally left. Don't know if it solved any of the problems or created more as we did get about .4" of rain yesterday
