A plate planter with 24 Cell plate's and driven at the proper speed with everything in good working order will do a fine job of planting. Loosing a 100.00 an acre planting with a plate planter is bull manure. I always preferred round seed, felt they did a little better. Lot of Snake oil being promoted around here,by the people selling thing's and the sucker's that are buying them. JMHO
