I asked the same question and got this back from them.
There are other websites out there that offer rain reporting, but no one has the capabilities that we had to do site specific rainfall. The other sites are on 2x2 mile grids that gives an average over that specific area. Growers Edge, Weather Channel and DTN are a few.
