Any suggestions are helpful. I've tried silicone and it flexed enough to take it off and PVC cement doesn't take the flex either. 3 cracks, 2" ong on the moulded ribbing in the trough. TIA

Do you think you could use some of the self-adhesive rubber flashing tapes?

Something like this.

How about that stuff you see on TV, Flex Seal. It is a spray on rubber sealant.

Bondo makes a product that is for fixing fiberglass and plastics on cars that will work or at least it does on the rubbermaid troughs. It is kind of messy and a little high but will fix several troughs. You will find it at the auto parts store. It will be in a card board box and called fiberglass repair kit. Let it dry real well and it should work.

I have had good lucktaking a piece of plastic similar to the tank, sandwich some silicone between it and the tank, and bolt or screw it in place.

JB weld would most likely work.

Gorilla glue! I used it on busted up concrete water trough last fall and it made it through the winter with flying colors. I've got a couple more leakers I'm going to use it on. Only 100% water proof glue I have found that is flexible and actually binds material together rather than filling the hole. It does that pretty well too. It expands like spray foam. Good stuff.

Might try a plastic welder at Northern Tools or Harbor Freight. I've used one to repair feeder bottoms and misc stuff around the farm.
