Dodge County, WI | As a former machinist, I agree with you 100%. Most of the time taps get broken by people who keep tapping down without breaking the chip or use a dull tap, and snap it off that way. I hate how these things give you a false sense of hope, when in the end, the 4 little fingers bend or break and the tap sits and laughs at you. It takes patience and time to do it successfully. That said, it's better than no hope at all.
