Well about 13' width is good which gives you a bit of room on each side with the arms out. I believe with the arms out on mine total width is 12 feet but I'd have to check again to be sure. I have several sheds last one is 64'x40' (insided mesurement would be 39feet from post to post. It fits 3 wide no problem and 8 deep so 24loads. For width its nice with the retriever truck and allows aprox. 18-24" between stacks. I have another shed 80x60" its 10 stacks deep but 5 wide. This one is "tight" for the retriver on the sides. When stacking they have to be set in nice and straight just right. I make sure the "drier" hay goes in the back of this one as there is not much air movement. Plus the stuff in the back has won't be hauled out for 8-10 months some years. As for hieght same as Badger's 18ft min., 19 feet is even nicer.
