Renville Minnesota

I think it would take many thousands of acres to justify the expense of a draper over a flex auger just by using saved soybeans......  Not so many thousands of acres in soybeans under 10% moisture, less acres than that if you feel you have never pushed a flex auger head that you really like (feeding problems, rumbling combine, powering down combine, stopping at dusk with dew setting in).......

Ran many 1020's, a 2020, a 930 deeres for many years, hydraflex for a long day, f30 lexion, Maxflex 40' lexion head for a long day.   We have batwing flex drapers on the combines now for the last two seasons....

I'd go back to an auger head if a gun was pointed to my head.   Probly not if it was pointed at my foot.
