In my own operation I can only think of one thing that would make sense to lease, and that is a 32% toolbar that I have and do custom work with. That thing needs to be in great shape, so newer is better in my opinion. Also with as corrosive as 32% is it would be nice to use it for a year or two and then send it up the road while the paint is still in decent shape. I'd like to wash it more often while I am in the middle of the season but when doing custom work that is easier said than done.
I have leased a tractor to help cash flow it. In hindsight that wasn't the greatest idea, but I was able to buy it out with some equity in it at the end. | |
