Eastern, IN | I just called and got a price on new radials tires for a tractor. 18.4 x 42 Firestone Radials mounted here on my farm for $3200 (for the pair). 14.9 x 30 Firestone radials mounted here on the farm $2150 for the pair. I am sorry but this is nuts! My guy told me that rubber will continue to increase in price thru 2014 so maybe I should feel like $5350 is a bargain?
My next call is to my Accountant to see if we need to start depreciating tires (I am kidding because the tires would last that long).
1 more thought, my 1086 with 95% Firestone radials should be worth $10k with tires or $6k without tires, right? | |
