Probably already mentioned but I seem to recall that the newer Westfield's have a ball in the hitch much like the arm of a three point hitch. Like you, I would like to tighten something like that up a bit. I'd be tempted to make a bushing from an old shaft and bore a hole through it to accept the bolt needed. You could use some heavy washers to hold the bushing in the drawbar and space the the ball from the drawbar to allow tilt and flex. Just make sure you have enough flex to allow raising and lowering. I know it will likely work forever with the large hole but I would take some slop out too. These augers aren't something you can pick up by hand and set on the drawbar any longer, they weigh a lot even when empty.
