Subject: 7810 & autosteer ?

N/E Iowa
Got a question.. I plant with my 7810 mfd, dont plan on getting rid of it for a few years, because it only has 4,500 hrs, and it has been a good tractor up to this point. I want to have some type of autosteer for this upcoming spring for planting. I already have a j.d. 2600 display, and a 3000 receiver, i found out i have 2 options (A) intergrate into the hydraulics, or (B) put the "steering ball" in the cab. I will start off with SF1, but i have had three different quotes from the J.D. dealers...... Activation fee is $3,000.00 (J.D. is proud of there product!) I'm kinda screwed because i'm already invested in the 2600 & 3000 reciever..... what route do i go, and how much am i really looking to spend? Thanks.

If i go with intergrated hydraulics i have to change and get the 2630 display........ another $2,000.00:( Is there many dealers that have good used systems like this? Or am i going to have to bite the bullet?
