I've read some of the responses and they seem to be wild with rec's aimed at making everyone else money except you.

#1 I would make sure that the pH is in the upper 6's first.

#2 Then I would spend the money on potash. Forget all the fancy phos rec's because beans don't need so much phos. Chances are your soil has plenty anyway.

If you want to put money in YOUR pocket pay attention to these basic rules. It's not about max yield...rather maximum profit per acre for you. Too many people miss this basic economic philosophy. Especially fertilizer salespeople.
