Farming in NW Iowa

About 3 weeks ago a 120 acre plot sold for $16750 an acre about 4 miles from this sale. (Another dairy/crop farmer bought that.) Apparently there is a lot of old money around. I guess local banks will go to $5500 an acre, after that you're on your own.
