| Is there any way to make these two talk? I read that the ag leader integra will work with it but I would like to make the JD Display work. Is there and rewiring that will take place, or what will all need to make this happen. Thanks for any help! |

Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Don't know about the Deere situation but when the Kinze sensors are used with an Ag Leader system, a special module is used (PMM). This is because the current Kinze sensors use a MUXbus desgin (A CAN system of their own). The PMM module acts as sort of a convertor to convert the MUXbus information to the CAN bus information that the Ag Leader system uses.
When an Ag Leader display is used with other planters that use a more conventional sensor then a different module (STMM - Seed Tube Monitoring Module) is used. This is the more conventional non CAN bus style.
It would surprise me if Deere would support the MUXbus type sensors. If this is true then rewiring and switching to a different type sensor would be necessary. This might get quite involved.

| You could use Dickey-john harnessing and modules to turn the planter into an ISO implement. In order to do this you would have to change the seed sensors to Dickey-john, because Kinze uses their own can like Tedbear explained. |

| Thanks for the info! How involved is this switch to dickey john from kinze, and then kinze is iso compliant? Will I be able to display the population/blockage on the 2630 then? |

Southern Illinois | The DickeyJohn high rate sensors can be wired to a ISO module. DJ usesa separate signal wire for each sensor. The sensors send a pulse every time an object passes the light beam. Kinze and Loup Electronics use Vansco's seed sensors and their propriety MUXbus system. 1 power, 1 ground, 1 signal wire common to all sensors. Sensors are "smart" sensors and send data packets down the communication wire. Sensors also have an object size filter programmed in. At corn populations they are pretty good about ignoring dust but at high rate (bean/milo) the filter turns off. DJ sensors have no such ability. Kinze offers an AgLeader Insite as a factory monitor option which is the only reason AgLeader screens have the ability to talk to a MUXbus system. Deere cannot. |

East Central, Nebraska | I would also be interested. From what I have been told the sensors will not mount onto a kinze tube. I would like to be able to put on the sensors from precision planting, I would have actually not bought a kinze planter if I had known this would be an issue. What good are the advanced planting features on an integra owning a kinze planter? |

Missouri | I believe the bullseye tubes with sensors are around 85 bucks a row and wavevision tube with sensor is about 140 a row. After that it depends on your setup as to the harness you need to put on the planter to run it and if you have more that 12 rows the u have to run a power booster from precision for the wavevision. A setup I priced just wavevision tubes and harness with power booster for a 12/23 we are doing was about 4200 bucks. All the further that gets you is back to a 37 pin connection then you have to get the wires to hook to your deere monitor or ag leader stmm or whatever you are wanting to hook them to. |

Iowa | If you have edgevac then the dickey john sensors will not fit those seed tubes. If you have finger pickup, then they will fit the seed tubes. I believe you could put on precision plantings vset meters and seed tubes and then you can use the wavevision sensors and run advanced seed tube monitoring through the Integra. |
