I agree with Ed. Keep with what you are doing, I think you will see good results down the road. I farm alot of ground the has been abused in the past and trying to get it be highly productive is work in progress. I have 14 acres that is clay and poorly drained that has turned into my test area for mew ways. Last year was PP and had rutts from 09. I'm all notill, but this place is somewhat new and needed to be leveled up anyway. Planted annunal ryegrass with radishes. Was very dry last fall and not the best of stand, but grew well anyway. Could not get in to spray untill middle of June when rye was 5 feet tall. Planted with my Greatplains drill June 19th. These beans look unbelievable. They are the only beans I have left to do but is to wet to do them. I think the rye and radishes really helpped. Time will tell. please keep trying. I'm learning new things everyday.
