WCIN
My well driller always insists on a test well before drilling the real irrigation well. He then uses it a s a water supply in drilling the big well. Cost for the test well is built into the price of the big well if the water proves to be sufficient. Just put one in this spring. Well cost 4800 bucks. 18" casing and 65' deep. Pump cost 10,500. 75hp/3ph, 650gpm @ 140psi to run a reel to water corners of pivot irriated field. I used a test well on an earlier system top pump sprayer water out of. Just have the well driller put a permanenet casing on the test well.
