When your contract is up you will have to spend money in the building if you want another contract.

Right now there are 1000's of feeders that are in excellent condition being taken out of buildings and sold for pennies on the dollar because the contract was up and the integrator wants the latest and greatest feeder design.     

They don't really care how much its going to cost you because if you won't put the new feeders in someone else that wants manure will build a new barn for them.

I'd be very careful building new contract barns right now, there is going to be another round of red ink coming real soon in the hog industry.
