Leesburg, Ohio | Pat: Thanks for your comments. Very well said. It confirms my thinking in some areas, and i learned a few things from your comments as well.
We have a beef cattle operation in addition to grain, but nothing on the scale of the large contract operations, so some consider me to be a "grain guy". I am firmly convinced that we must not forget that the "grain guys" and the "livestock guys" need each other in order for either to be successful. I like seeing some contract barns and/or big dairies in an area...i think it's good for the community, and for all of us. | |
