Yes we encourage our growers to soil test as part of our system but we don't run the tests. We usually recommend Midwest Labs out of Omaha, NE. They're an independent lab and they do great work, but there are other independent labs out there, too. We encourage our growers to test with an independent lab, because we don't know what you need otherwise. My comment earlier is just that I'm skeptical when the fertilizer company wants to do the soil test in-house.
"Here, let ME do your test and then I'LL tell you what you need!" might as well be translated "Just take a leap of faith and write me a blank check" imho | |
