I have to agree with you. Have a friend that does just that on 2600 acres of corn on corn. Biggest thing in vet liquid you need a cheaper source of K in liquid to accomplish your goal. About the only source of liquid K is 0-0-30 potassium hydroxide It 0-0-25-17s. You could use 10-34-0 for P source if you can find it. My friend figured out after the first year it was a pain in the butt and ended up using a 3-9-12 to just blanket apply and runs a 6-24-6 with MICROS in furrow.and obtained more consistent results.
