I don't know abut the price.

If you are using EZ-Boom for a planter with their cables, the expectation is that they will be connected to Tru-Count air valve box(es). This cable terminates in 6 pole weatherpaks which are connected to the valve box(es). There is one for Sections 1-4, another for Sections 5-8 and a third for Sections 9-10.

The Ag Leader Surestop cables are identical for each "half" of the planter. These cables start with a 24 pin AMP connector and split up for each row with 2 pole weatherpaks to connect to the Surestops. There are several possible Surestop cables depending on the number of rows. For example a 16 row planter would use two identical 8 row harnesses.

This means that the EZ-Boom planter cable will not mate with the Ag Leader Surestop cables. We make adapter cables that allow the two to be connected. Because the row harnesses are identical, the adapter cables cannot be identical but need to be "mirror images" for the section splitup.

There are several possible variations. A common combination that I made last Friday was for a 16 row planter split up into 8-2 row sections.

I have a set of adapters on the shelf that I made for a 12 row planter setup for 6-2 row sections. If the 12 row were setup as 4-3 row sections then a slightly different adapter would be needed.

So what modules would I need? Do I buy just the sure stop clutches or do I need all ag leader cables.

I have done this already. What you do is order the complete Ag leader SureStop kit but do not order the Clutch module or section adapter. Then you call Ag Express, if you call Des Moines you want to talk to Eric. Tell him you want to hook sure stops to an Ez-Boom. He will give you your options. The ones I have done used an Ez-boom with the cables to go to the Tru count clutches. Ag Express just made me an adapter that went from the 6 pin weather pak connectors that Tru count uses to the half toolbar harnesses from Ag Leader (Amp connectors). In your case each Ag Leader toolbar half will have 6 rows on it. It works well and is pretty easy to set up.

I checked a month ago for my new 3600 12 row,if I used ez-boom for controller,Tru count air clutches with 12 volt compressor was 4300.00 and 100.00 for cable. I went with Ag Leader Sure Stop electric, clutches and hardware kits where 4080.00, I will be controlling them with Precision 20/20 with row flow, decided to leave Ez-boom in sprayer and not switch back and forth,I am not sure about controlling Ag Leader clutches with EZ-Boom, there should be a way with the right harness.
