Subject: Re: Vacuum vs. Finger Pickup for new planter

Elizabethtown,KY
I've had vacs since 1992, first a 7200, then a 1750 and now a 1770, couldn't give me another finger pick-up, too many maintenance issues, as a fellow said years ago, "if you have finger units, when you get through planting, take them off the planter and put them under your bed until next year"! I've run the factory disks ever since I have had vac planters, I change the vacuum pressure every time I change lots of seed, my stands aren't that far from e-sets and pro-maxes that are around me.
