Subject: Case 2590 tractor hydraulics

Dickinson, ND
I have a friend with a new Brandt sprayer that he wants to use a Case 2590 on. The tractor is a 1984 model.

"It's a Brandt SB4000 sprayer... After reading through the sprayer manual and the tractor manual, I've figured most of it out - the tractor has flow control adjustments on each remote that can be used to set pressure on the pump and the speed of the booms folding, etc.

The only thing that I can't figure out is where we can hook up the 3rd hydraulic line coming off the orbit motor - where there is a place to dump oil back into the transmission... Also would like to know for sure what type of hydrualic system the 2590 has - just "closed center" or "pressure compensating" or "load compensating" - - the book says the last two need special valves added on to work."

Can anyone help with this?
