Subject: New Gooseneck grain trailer

We are looking for advise. We have just begun manufacturing a gooseneck grain trailer. It is a gravity flow(no hydraulics)rear dump and holds 340bushel without extensions on. The overall weight of the pickup trailer and 340 bushell of corn was 30,140lbs. The amount of weight transferred on the towing vehichle was only 2000lbs. and the weight carried by the tandem duall 10,000 lb axles was 20,700. So everything worked aut about perfect. My question is as I mentioned it is a rear discharge would you guys be more interested in a side ,center or rear dump. If so why. Second question -as I mentioned 340 bushell is about max on 10k duall axles and about all a pickup can handle without taking out transmissions how much capacity should we offer?Thank you for any input. You can view our new "grain express" grain trailer at www.komfgco.com and email your response to [email protected]
