Subject: ford F-600 grain truck problems

NW Ohio
I am having problems with my 1971 ford F600 with a 330ci ford v8. I am having problems finding tune up information for it. I know there are a couple different variations of this engine and was wondering if anyone had any idea how to tell them apart or has anymore knowledge than me. Thank you

Did you say '71 330 ????? What info do you need for tune up ????? Sparkplug gap ? That is back from in the day, there is no list of specs to make it run !!!!!! In your case you probably want to start with a new cap and rotor, maybe then go to the wires and a new set of plugs.

Northern Indiana
330, 360 and 390 are the same family of engines. I believe they are all the same tune up specs.

Spark plug gap = 34
Point dwell = 24-29
Point gap = .021
Timing = 6* BTC
Idle speed = Std =650
auto = 550 Drv.
