western wisconsin | there were post last month about the new ag connect expo in orlando.
i attend it last week, and promised i would post my opinion.
first, i was disappointed right away.....after all the hype, i expected to to bigger and more exciting.
it was not a big venue, in fact if it was not for the gigantic displays by case ih and john deere, the place would have seemed rather sparse.
not that many vendors there......only one seed company (pioneer), no large crop chemical companies (a few with specialty crop products), and no fertilizer or micro nutrient booths.
it was populated mostly by equipment companies.
on the positive side, there were many foriegn equipment companies......i never knew there where so many brands of tractors.
but, all in all, it was not worth my $30.00 entry fee. (plus another $7.00 to park)
i do realize it was thier first year, and i wish them luck.........but it needs to be a lot better to get me to go back.
looking forward to the louisville show in february
