Logan Co. Ill.

Since we seem to be having a snow day here I decided to bake. Those cookies are a huge hit and I'm not sure they are going to last the day! The guys already asked if that's all I made! I've also got a pot of vegtable soup on the stove.

You're welcome Karen! Well, a few hours have passed since your post. How are the cookies holding up?

Forgot to tell you I usually make a double batch as they do tend to disappear quickly!

LOL! There are a few left-they are rationing them now so they can have some with coffee in the morning. You're right I should have made a double batch. For some reason I thought I'd only make one till I find out if they like 'em. Silly me! They have never met a dessert they don't like!

Mrs B made some yesterday. I am having a hard time pacing myself. Very good.

She makes a mean apricot tart too.
