There's a Ben Mar Farm in Magneto (?) Iowa. Not enough background in the pic to guess the state.
I haven't yet determined if there's a header on that combine, all I can see is the truck. The operator had presense of mind to close the cab door after he got out.

I'm thinking the pickup did, and the combine driver t-boned him. Seems to be a lot of damage to the truck though...did it roll once before the feeder house speared it and pushed into the ditch?

Notice in the third to last picture that the hitch on the trailer held together. The receiver ripped the hitch right off the truck and the safety chain is still done up! Rich and Plowboy need to see that!

This has been on youtube for a while. I guess the kid driving the truck is a spoiled brat from what it said. Not the first time he has wrecked a truck.

THAT IS ONE OF MY CUSTOMERS, BON MAR FARMS OUT OF WATERFORD ONTARIO, ABOUT 2 HOURS SOUTHWEST OF TORONTO. PICKUP TRUCK BLEW THROUGH THE STOP SIGN HEADING EAST WHILE THE COMBINE WAS HEADING SOUTH. THE FEEDER HOUSE TURNED THE TRUCK INTO SCRAP METAL WHILE THE TRAILER SWUNG AROUND AND TOOK OUT THE CHOPPER. WHAT IS EVEN MORE AMAZING IS THAT THERE WAS A SMALL CAR HEADING NORTHBOUND THAT GOT HIT AS THE TRAILER CAME AROUND THE BACK OF THE COMBINE. NOBODY SERIOUSLY INJURED ALTHOUGH THE COPS HAD TO PRY THE DRIVER OF THE TRUCK OUT. THE COMBINE WAS WRITTEN OFF AS THE FRAME WAS TWISTED BY OVER 4".

Hope the operation had decent ins coverage to replace the combine, PU driver's ins more than likely will cover very little.
Most people keep very low PD coverage .... minimum in MN is 25 grand I think (used to be 10K...might still be). But it being in Canada.... whole another situation, don't know how the insurance rules/laws are up there.
