I have a heck of a time getting candid shots with her. She seems to always see me having that camera. Rarely do I catch her off gaurd. We had a hoot of a time today riding 4 wheelers.

Rich,

You may want to consider "carrying" when she gets old enough to date! LOL

LOL

Per some commentary I have heard around town, I carry the two biggest guns in the county under my shirt sleeves.

But hopefully the boys will think I'm crazy as hell by then and that percieved image will be enough. LOL

Ya, I hear you loud and clear.

The oldest turns 15 in december. I'm wondering where in the heck her childhood went because I sure don't recall much of it.

Trying not to make the same mistake twice with this one. It helps immensly that she is in love with the farm and everything about it.

The almost 15 year old.....Dads farm is "boring". LOL.

This one turns 16 in March! She wants a pickup lifted up 6" with big tires and loud mufflers! Guess I can't complain as she likes country music and no boyfriends yet!

Ah...Your lucky. Sounds alot like this lil one in the pics.

The almost 15 year old........yea, well.......typical high school girl that thinks her dads an idiot......I guess a few on here would probably agree with her. Some days I do too. LOL.

Blooming where I am planted!
Nice looking girl and great to know she loves the farm.  I know what you mean about camera shy.  My best friend's daughter is the same way, in this picture she was 13 and the ONLY way I could get this picture was with her dad holding her in a vise grip while I snapped it.  Believe me she was NOT happy about this but her dad was joking around with her for being so difficult, so that's why she's got a reluctant smile on her face.  They have 4 kids and they are all really great kids.

What a beautiful young woman! Black dirt once told me good looking children are a paternal gene thing!  LOL!  My daughter always said she wanted a truck like that too!

Thank You Sir!

I tell ya Paul, theres days there is no way I can get away to do this so when some dead time comes around and she calls and says "Dad, can we ride 4 wheelers?"........ I'm there.

I can remember the most time I spent was with my pop was working cattle. Not exactly an enjoyable time together doing it his way I can promise you.

I hope when she looks back someday these pictures will give her alot of good memories. I got to get in gear this winter and print them off and put them in the book I started.

This one is my pride and joy. She loves everything about the farm and I'm numero uno in her life. She can melt my heart like no other. There's just something special about a dad and his daughter. Until someone has had that bond, you just can't describe it and do it justice.

I know your a busy fellar but I encourage you to try and do some more with the kids. The rewards are endless.

You have every reason to be proud there. Who says daughters can't farm!

Here is mine raking hay with me. Just loves to be with daddy in the tractor.

Thats a million dollar grin on her there Ben.

I would suspect that you will be another on my list to send that hardcopy of "application to date my daughter" to dispense to the young lads in the area in another few years.
