Macon, IL | Corn running 185-195-but doubt the later corn will make that.
Moisture 17.5-21.5.
Combing grain tank is 350bu if you top it out, but it gets pretty creaky after about 300 so I try not to top it out. Will unload in about 2 mins. Auger hydraulic driven. Nice becuase in 180bu corn I can make a full round w/6 row head and unload over ditch and keep trucks/carts out of field.
Was built by David Fathauer Sr. from Dalton City in 1978 or 79. Too many other enhancements to list here-but things like 8820 clean grain elevator, custom build rear axle, 8820 rear hubs, 120gal fuel tank, etc. etc. make it a real nice machine. GPS Mapping, etc.
As for the drives everyone questions that. Right final is still origional-and combine has 5200 hours on it. Left one I rebuilt 5 years ago. Secret is dished out wheels-keep the weight distributed evenly.
