South Carolina | I never see meat based diets discuss blood type, is the correlation between diet and blood type as strong as proposed in the Eat Right for you blood type book? For example, I am a blood type A+ which the book says I should avoid all meat except turkey and should eat primarily vegetables. I feel best eating red meat and few vegetables. My gut agrees. Are there longer term health implications? My chiropractor, who is pretty out the box in thinking, really advocates the blood type diet and says the issues would be in the longer term view (i.e. heart issues for someone like me who is an A blood type).
Just curious if anyone has come across research addressing this.
