| A lot of people in my area picked up an older 2nd combine to help them get through with beans last year, and the talk at the restaurant is how many acres justify a 2nd machine.
I know the mix of corn/soybean you have makes a huge difference, but what are your opinions on the most efficient number of acres one newer combine can handle, before getting a 2nd?
I have one 9670, with 1550 acres of corn and 1900 acres of beans. I have a bottleneck in corn hauling (45 miles and a line) and not enough storage to keep the one i have running.
