North Dakota | I'm trying to use a single yield map in Apex to make a simple fertilizer prescription. I am breaking the yield map into 3 zones, and then creating a prescription for those three zones for fertilizer. When the RX map is done, the map and zones itself are exactly the same as the yield map. But in the summary area, the total acres in each zone are completely different for some reason.
For example on the current map I'm working on, it is a wheat yield map. I broke it into three zones:
> 60 bu= 88 acres
30-60 bu= 94 acres
< 30 bu= 81 acres
After I assign rates to those zones and then save the RX map I get the following:
184 lbs on 74 acres
103 lbs on 140 acres
41 lbs on 48 acres
The zone maps don't change. This is data from Original Greenstar Displays in 3 different combines.
