Subject: Moisture tester for hay?

Quincy, IL
Is there a moisture tester that I can stick into a large round bale of hay to tell me what the moisture/temperature of that bale is. I had to bale some alfalfa this week that was the first/sescond cutting and the double windrows were HEAVY and didnt cure like it should of. Weren't good hay days. I'm wanting to put them in the shed, but dont want to burn it down. How long does it take to go through the heat stage before I'd be ok? How long can a person wrap that hay after it has been baled?

Thanks!
