The deer in Wisconsin must know the gun hunting season opens on Saturday and are going crazy. They tore through two very hot electric interior divider fences even tearing the insulators off of the posts.

I know a couple folks that have hit deer with cars in the past few days. 

The time I hit a deer in ND a couple years back I did not have the whistles on my truck. I usually have them on but they sometimes come off with pressure washing etc. I have never hit a deer with whistles on the bumper. The two times I have hit a deer I did NOT have the whistles on.

I put a new set on today as will be driving a lot in WI and S MN over the next few days. A good friend says they have no effect and my experience is just coincidence.

Any thoughts on whether the whistles work or not?
