Here in Pa the deer season is over. I farm 5 farms. My family only hunts on the home farm. Some of the other farms are not hunted much and some of the owners don't hunt. The last day, today, my family saw 40 some deer, just on our farm. We got only 5. I am afraid next summer is going to be a challenge to keep the deer under control. I don't like shooting them in the summer, because so few people want the meat, and I just don't like to let them rot. I think in PA, at least in Perry county, the does season should be 2 weeks long and coincide with the buck season. It is crazy with deer. O yes, we let people hunt whom we know will be responsible.
