| We have a pipeline that would like to have access to our property for the purpose of surveying to see if it is feasible to put a pipeline in. I asked for a small payment from them for getting access to my property and they refuse any payment and they state they will go to court to get access to survey on my property. The pipeline agent states with windmills, they would pay to access my ground for surveying, but pipelines are not required to pay for accessing the property. Is this true? Would I gain anything by having them take me thru the courts to get access? I don't mind them surveying, but why wouldn't they pay for this data? | |
