West Central Iowa | My son who lives in St. Paul, MN, needs to check into replacing the shingles on his house. Been a few years since I shingled anything and when I did, I pretty much trusted the local small home town contractors/suppliers to do what they thought was best. This is an older 2 story home with what I would call a pretty steep roof pitch, at least compared to my ranch home roof, it is pretty steep. It will be getting new sheeting also, if this make a difference on shingle type. Also, what materials would you recommend to use or to stay away from for the sheeting.
