Subject: Laars Mascot boiler? reviews?

I am looking for a boiler for my shop and can get a laars mascot...the small one for $2500 brand new.
Anyone have any experience with these? I have 1700 square feet to heat. Can it be hooked up by a handyman, or do i need to be getting a plumber for this?
