Subject: Blueberry Cobbler

Ethridge, TN

My great grandmother used to make a blueberry cobbler that would just melt in your mouth. The family used to have a cabin on Clear Lake in Canada, would pick the wild blueberries, and she could make this great cobbler in the oven of the wood burning stove. Unfortunately, she died before the recipe for this was ever passed on. I'm not even 100% sure it was an actual cobbler, but that is what it was always referred to as.

It wasn't like an apple cobbler, where you fill the pan with apples and put the topping over them. This somehow had the blueberries mixed in, yet it was not like a cake. I wish I could describe it better, but I'm really hoping that someone might shed some light on this. It was very sweet, and just litterally melted in your mouth. I've triied searching recipes, tried a few that sounded close, but nothing has ever been "it".
