NC Nebraska | CorngrowerII said it very well. Everyone has to be responsible. I'm in the process of trasfering all the written data onto a spreadsheet and as usual it sucks. Of course I've waited until the end to start, but in the middle of harvest it's kind of the last thing on my mind. I have to say everyone in our operation is very good at keeping tabs on loads. If a load isn't going to a scale we'll keep track with the scales on the carts with a written spreadsheet where you fill in the blanks. I've often thought about keeping my laptop in the combine with me and filling in the blanks as we go but not everyday in the combine is easy and lax enough to do that... | |
