This is for the young farmer who asked for pictures below.  The pictures don't show like the naked eye but you might see a difference.

There are 4 pictures, one field view and closeup of AMS with the dry program and one right beside it, same soil series and type with nothing on in the fall.

The applied is more rotten and the nonapplied is more yellow and intact to the naked eye.

I don't know if this helps you at all but I can see the difference, photo's come up short sometimes, especially with little light like today.
