Subject: Installing Trimble auto pilot?

Hazelton, Kansas 6.75 miles N of Crowbar
Am installing a autopilot on a CaseIH 9130. Dealer says to mount the ant. on top of the cab directly above the hinge. My experience with the easy-guide plus was the best place was 2' infront of the front axle. This will have the navcontroller II in the system so maybe that's the difference. Also what are your thoughts on placement of the autosence. In front of, on top of or behind the hinge point? As close to the ground as possible or does any of it really matter once the calibration is done? Yes the EZG500 looks real nice. Cheers TIA
